ABOUT KEVIN AGUILAR
Kevin Aguilar, the owner of Aguilar Construction Services was born and raised in New Orleans and has over 18 years of construction experience. His background in general construction and restoration is extensive. Over the years, he has traveled and lived in various cities in the United States. This has allowed him to work with some of the best builders in the US. In 1998, he lived in NYC and worked as a plumbing apprentice for Desena plumbing. Most of the work was concentrated in Manhattan. Projects ranged from basic service calls to multi-million dollar renovations. In 2002, he owned and operated K & A Precision Painting in Boston / Cape Cod, Massachusetts. K & A specialized in mid to high end painting projects. Working with architects and interior designers was customary. From there, he moved back to New Orleans in the spring of 2005. The year of Katrina. Kevin quickly became a part of the rebuilding efforts led by FEMA and local officials. He was a Project Foreman for FLUOR-DANIELS temporary trailer operations. He managed 7 Men / Women crews; 28 employees. The main focus was helping his fellow affected neighbors of NOLA get back on their feet. By 2007, as part owner of Aguilar & Son’s Construction, Kevin started his second phase of the rebuilding efforts by helping home owners meet the new FEMA BFE requirements. He guided home owners through the painstaking process of accessing monies needed to elevate their home. This meant dealing with the ICC fund. This is where his career towards insurance based restoration started to take shape. In the fall of 2008, Kevin was recruited by Integrity Roofing Services of Denver, CO. Integrity specialized in storm restoration work. Kevin was a Sales / Production Manager. This position continued his growth in insurance based restoration. By 2010, Kevin had created, Aguilar Construction Services. A licensed general contracting and public adjusting firm. With both licenses, Kevin is able to provide an array of construction and consulting services. It was this background that led Kevin to his role as a keynote speaker for the roofing and restoration industry. Since Super Storm Sandy, he has given over 30 / 1-day seminars teaching numerous contractors around the US how to properly deal with insurance companies and home owners in a post storm / loss environment. Some of his clients include: Owens Corning (Pink Panther), ABC Supply, Allied Building Supply, and various contractors in the industry. It is his well -rounded background in general construction and property restoration that gives Kevin the industry creditability to capture his audience and train his peers. As of 2009, Denver has been home to Kevin, his wife Pamela, daughter Payton, and dog, “ Satchmo”. As Owner of Aguilar Construction Services, Kevin is committed to sharing his extensive knowledge in the construction / restoration industry with his client’s throughout the Denver Metro area.

Kevin Aguilar has lead an educational series for Owens Corning titled “Successful Strategies in a Storm Environment” since 2012. These training seminars began shortly after Hurricane Sandy. Owens Corning identified the need to help their east coast contractors and train them in Insurance based restoration. Kevin Aguilar is a native of New Orleans, LA and knows far too well the impacts that a hurricane can cause on a community. Because his seminars were so beneficial on the east coast, he now travels all across the U.S. Training contractors in other markets.
